MEAT

'Meat' is a 1 minute short that takes place in a dystopian world, where cannibalism is considered normal. In order to overcome poverty, hunger, and over population, people can sell themselves to the food industry. The person will be processed and turned into meat and in exchange, their family or whoever they choose will receive a hefty payment for their sacrifice.

 

I really wanted to play around with visuals and sound to create an unsettling feeling in the viewer to reflect the twisted nature of this messed up world it takes place in.

It's an idea I would like to explore further some day as I feel with the right story in this world it could have a lot of potential.
