Hello there, I'm Joe Burbidge and I'm a director. As you can see from my work, there is nothing I love more than creating things that are weird, wacky and wonderful. I enjoy bringing out the hilarity in what may otherwise be quite daunting situations.
Not only do I direct, but I write too. I like making stories that are hilariously heartwarming and explore the more unusual parts of my brain. This usually leads onto me storyboarding various scenes to help envision them further.
I think my drive to go into this industry says enough about film being one of my interests, so I want to highlight one of my other passions (that's right I'm no robot, I have hobbies). I have always loved urban exploring, seeing nature reclaim these manmade structures, some frozen in time and others left to be forgotten. Every place has a different story to tell, left in different states of decay or vandalism. You find some that are goldmines, untouched from the day they were left and others you see with doors torn down and graffiti tags on every wall. It's a great way of finding the hidden treasures this world has to offer.
