ALONE
'Alone' is set in a world where one day all but two humans suddenly vanished... Being the only two people left on earth, you'd think they were meant to be together, but really, they are both better off alone...
This short takes place after a feud and our lead, played by Timothy Suffolk, comes to the realisation that they simply aren't good for each other.

I wrote and directed this monologue during my second year of university for a directing module. Due to the covid restrictions in place at the time, it meant that Timothy and I had to rehearse the majority of this over zoom.
The story started off quite simple about two confused, mismatched souls in the crumbling remains of humanity, however, we continued to build on it expanding this world and researching the actual events that would take place if all human life suddenly did cease to exist . This was a really rewarding process as I believe it helped create a much more immersive world and stronger story.
